About Us

Founded in 1985 by Robert Copeland, Copeland Coppersmiths is a family-owned and run business.   As with all successful organisations, our people are our top resource.  Many of our tradesmen and senior management have over 40 years of experience in the copper and lead roofing industry.  Our craftsmen have worked on such iconic buildings as The Four Courts, The Customs House, Trinity College and Portumna Castle.

With the introduction of longstrip copper and zinc products to the Irish market over 30 years ago, we invested in modernising our production facility.  In line with this we fabricate all our materials using the latest in CAD / CAM manufacturing equipment in our modern facility in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath.  This independent facility allows us to control each stage of the process, thus ensuring the highest possible standards for the finished project.

As improved installers for all the main metal producers, we have access to the best technical knowledge. This allied with our continuous professional development programme has allowed us to successfully complete a range of highly challenging projects.
